What is this EFI-conversion extractor?
This is a tuned extractor set for the early Holden HQ-to-WB body fitted with a 5.0L EFI conversion, where the factory manifolds were never built for the swapped engine. It uses 1-3/4in primary pipes merging into 4-into-1 collectors with 3in outlets, sized to suit the converted V8 and to gather the exhaust pulses cleanly off each cylinder rather than through a cast lump.
What does the 304 stainless mean?
The FX-303 is built from 304-grade stainless steel, a corrosion-resistant grade commonly used for exhaust pipework that has to live with heat and moisture. It is the uncoated stainless version of this 4-into-1 conversion extractor; a silver ceramic-coated version of the same design is listed under a separate part number.
