What is this part and what does it do?
This is a header, or extractor, set that replaces the cast factory exhaust manifold with tuned tubes merging into a collector, giving each cylinder a cleaner exit than a single cast casting. Because the Hilux, HiAce and 4Runner of this era shared the L and 2L diesel engines, the FX-614 fits across that group. It's the front-of-system replacement; the rest of the exhaust stays as your vehicle runs it.
