Wearing four SC tips, the Exhaust Systems Australia HOLDEN-COMMODORE-VE-VF-V6-V8-UTE-3-KIT-WITH-2-X-HOTDOG-XPIPE-4-X-SC-TIPS-XPS-STA is a 3in 304-stainless kit for the VE–VF Commodore ute and WM–WN Statesman, with twin hotdogs and an X-pipe.
This kit is built on a 3in bore in 304 stainless, the larger sizing aimed at a built or harder-worked VE–VF ute. The 304 grade earns its place on corrosion life — it resists the surface rust that eats raw or aluminised tube — so the system is the long-lasting choice for a ute that lives outdoors. The SC tips, four of them, set the rear styling at the bar.
Two hotdog resonators and an X-pipe crossover make up the silencing and balancing. The X-pipe levels pressure across the banks and smooths the note, while the hotdogs tune out drone with a straight-through path rather than a restrictive box. It's a free-breathing layout for the V8, leaning on resonators and the tip count instead of a heavy rear muffler.
