This is the V8-only kit for the earlier VN–VS ute and wagon: the HOLDEN-COMMODORE-VN-VR-VS-V8-ONLY-UTE-WAGON-2-1-2-CATBACK-KIT-INC-EVERFLO-MUFFLE from Exhaust Systems Australia is a 2in cat-back with a single Everflo muffler and tailpipe. It's listed to fit the Holden Commodore VN, VR and VS V8 in ute and wagon bodies.
This kit is cut for the V8 driveline in the VN–VS ute and wagon, where the engine, crossmember and longer rear floor differ from the six-cylinder cars and the sedan. Matching the cat-back to that combination means the pipework follows the right routing and the hangers line up. It runs a single Everflo muffler with a tailpipe on a 2in body — the straightforward silencer-plus-tailpipe layout rather than a multi-box system.
A cat-back replaces the run from the catalytic converter back — pipe, muffler and tailpipe — so the factory cat and the emissions hardware ahead of it stay in place. With one Everflo muffler and the matching tailpipe included, it's a complete rear section supplied to bolt up in one go, which makes it the clean reset when the back of an older VN–VS V8 system is worn out.
It's listed to fit the Holden Commodore VN, VR and VS V8 ute and wagon — the V8 driveline and the ute/wagon body are the points to confirm, since the six-cylinder cars and the sedan run their own kits.
