This Everflo rear muffler (HOLDEN-COMMODORE-VP-VS-2-1-2-IRS-REAR-MUFFLER-EVERFLO) is the tail box for the IRS Holden Commodore VP–VS, on a 2in bore. The IRS-specific fitment is the point — it's cut for the independent-rear cars, which package the rear muffler differently to the live-axle ones.
Independent rear suspension changes how the rear of the car is packaged, so the IRS Commodores run their own rear muffler and pipe routing rather than the live-axle part.
