Cut for the ute body, HOLDEN-COMMODORE-VS-ECOTEC-UTE-2-1-2-CATBACK-KIT-INC-2-X-EVERFLO-MUFFLER-TAILPIP routes around the tray and chassis of the VS Commodore Ute rather than a sedan floor. Supplied by Exhaust Systems Australia in a 2in bore, it runs two Everflo mufflers and a tailpipe.
A ute carries its exhaust under a separate chassis and tray, so the bends, hanger points and tailpipe exit differ from the sedan. This kit is built specifically for the VS Ute, which is why the routing and the included tailpipe are shaped for that body. Getting a body-correct kit means the run sits where the factory mounts are rather than being forced into place.
It's a cat-back kit, replacing from the catalytic converter rearward and leaving the front pipework and cat alone. Two Everflo mufflers split the silencing across the run, and the supplied tailpipe finishes it. At a 2in bore it's matched to the VS Ecotec V6 rather than a big-bore build, keeping the note manageable for a working ute.
It's listed to fit the Holden Commodore VS Ute with the Ecotec V6. The VS is the mid-'90s Commodore and the Ecotec is its V6, so this is the body-and-engine-specific kit for that ute. Confirm your exact build and any earlier exhaust changes with the workshop before ordering.
