The character here comes from running two hotdogs instead of a chambered muffler. A hotdog is a straight-through resonator that flows freely and trims a target frequency rather than broadly absorbing volume. Two of them give a more open, present note than a muffler-based kit, with the resonators keeping the worst of the drone in check. It's the flow-led, louder-leaning choice among the VT-VY kits for an owner who wants the system to breathe.
It's a cat-back kit, replacing from the catalytic converter rearward while the cat and front pipework stay in place. At a 2in bore it's matched to the VT-VY V6. The two hotdogs are supplied together so the rear section fits as one matched run, cut for the ute or wagon body rather than the sedan.
