The character of this kit comes from running both a hotdog and an Everflo muffler. The hotdog is a straight-through resonator that flows freely and trims a target frequency; the muffler does the broader silencing. Together they give a freer note than two full mufflers would, while still keeping the VT-VY civil. It's the balanced middle path — more open than a twin-muffler kit, quieter than a hotdogs-only setup.
It's a cat-back kit, replacing from the catalytic converter rearward while the cat and front pipework stay in place. At a 2in bore it's matched to the VT-VY V6 rather than a modified engine. The hotdog and muffler are supplied together so the rear section goes on as one matched run, cut for the ute or wagon body.
