This kit pairs a hotdog with a full Everflo muffler and finishes in a dual outlet — the Exhaust Systems Australia HOLDEN-COMMODORE-VT-VY-V6-UTE-WAGON-2-1-2-CATBACK-KIT-INC-HOTDOG-EVERFLO-MUFFLER is a 2in cat-back for the VT–VY Commodore V6 ute and wagon.
Rather than relying on a single silencer, this kit runs a hotdog resonator and an Everflo muffler in series. The hotdog tunes out drone with a straight-through path, while the rear muffler does the heavier quietening — together they aim for a more settled note than a hotdog alone. The dual outlet at the rear gives the V6 a twin-tip exit, so it looks the part as well as sounding controlled.
A cat-back swaps the system from the catalytic converter rearward and leaves the factory emissions hardware up front. At 2in it's a street-sensible bore for the Commodore V6. Listed for the ute and wagon, the routing is shaped for those longer bodies, and the dual outlet has to sit square at the rear bar — both details we check on the car.
