This is the three-box kit for the VY Series II ute and wagon: the HOLDEN-COMMODORE-VY-SERIES-II-V6-UTE-WAGON-2-1-2-CATBACK-KIT-INC-2-X-EVERFLO-MUF from Exhaust Systems Australia pairs two Everflo mufflers with a hotdog resonator on a 2in body. It's a cat-back listed to fit the Holden Commodore VY Series II V6 ute and wagon.
The hotdog is a compact straight-through resonator that targets drone in the mid-section, and the two Everflo mufflers then carry the bulk of the volume across the rest of the run. Spreading the work over three boxes along the longer ute and wagon floor tends to give an even, settled character down the length of the car rather than loading one rear box. It's built on a 2in body to suit the standard or lightly worked Series II six.
The ute and wagon share a longer load-area floor and a different rear overhang to the sedan, so the cat-back run and hanger spacing are cut for those bodies. A cat-back replaces everything from the catalytic converter back — pipe, resonator, mufflers and tailpipe — leaving the factory cat and the emissions hardware ahead of it in place. Supplied as a complete kit, it bolts up as a section rather than being pieced together box by box.
It's listed to fit the Holden Commodore VY Series II V6 ute and wagon — the Series II spec and the ute/wagon body are the points to confirm, since the sedan and the earlier VY run their own kits.
