The MPI Automotive MKGW0008 is a 3in turbo-back exhaust for the GWM Cannon ute 2.0L turbo-diesel (2020–2025), built without the catalytic converter and running a rear muffler. The defining choice here is the cat-delete configuration, which strips the emissions hardware out of the engine-back run.
What does the rear muffler do here?
This SKU finishes through a rear muffler, the most subdued of the configurations in this range. The muffler keeps the note civil and pulls drone out of the tailpipe, so it suits owners who want the flow of a 3in turbo-back on the Cannon but a tamer sound to live with daily.
What deleting the cat means for road use
Built without the catalytic converter, this version removes emissions hardware from the engine-back run, which is what separates it from the with-cat option in the same range. Because it removes the catalytic converter, this configuration is not ADR 79/04 compliant for road registration in NSW and is sold for off-road and competition use only.
