The MKHN0429 leads with 1-3/4in primaries. Extractors are tuned-length headers replacing the restrictive cast manifolds the VE V8 wore from the factory, giving each cylinder its own primary tube before the merge to cut back-pressure and improve scavenging. The honest trade-offs hold: they sit in the engine-bay heat zone, take labour to fit, and change the note. The 1-3/4in primaries are sized to the 3in pipe so the system works as a unit.
