Can it stay registered?
No. The MKTY0150 is built without the catalytic converter, removing the emissions hardware the Hilux left the factory with — the component road registration in NSW depends on for these diesels. So this is an off-road or competition fitment for the KUN26R, not a swap for a registered daily. The converter-retained KUN26R system is the one to look at if your truck keeps its plates, and we will point you there.
