The MPI Automotive MKTY0195 is the most open DPF-era 79 Series build: a 4in single system for the VDJ79 V8 4.5L turbo-diesel ute, 2016 onwards, with no catalytic converter and no muffler — $2729.33 RRP.
Is it road legal?
No. Because the MKTY0195 is supplied without a catalytic converter, it is not ADR 79/04 compliant for road registration in NSW and is for off-road use only. This is the no-muffler version on top of the cat-delete, so there is no softening of the note and no emissions hardware in the run — treat it strictly as an off-road or competition part for the 4.5L V8 ute.
How does it differ from the muffler-retained version?
