What are extractors and what do they change?
Extractors replace the cast exhaust manifolds with tubular primaries into a collector. On a Patrol carrying a Gen-III conversion they bolt at the swapped engine's heads as the first stage of the exhaust, with the rest of the system separate. Because this is a conversion rather than a factory driveline, the header has to suit both the converted engine and the Patrol chassis around it.
