HSV VY Series 2 - VZ 5.7 8 Cylinder Ute Try-Y Headers 2 1/2 Inch System With Rear Pipe Only.
Category: Extractors and headers

The Pacemaker PP5367-27 is a Try-Y header system listed to fit the HSV VY Series 2 and VZ V8 ute, supplied with the rear pipe only and no muffler. It's a 2½in Try-Y design running from the manifolds through to the rear pipe.
A Try-Y header merges the runners in stages to match the V8's firing order rather than using a cast manifold. This 2½in PP5367-27 includes the rear pipe but no muffler in this configuration, so the system runs to the back without a rear silencer. That's a louder arrangement than a mufflered build and leaves the muffler choice to you.
It's listed to fit the HSV VY Series 2 and VZ V8 ute. Try-Y systems depend on body and driveline detail, so confirm your exact HSV ute and engine with the workshop before ordering.
Supplied without a muffler, this leans toward a louder, performance-focused setup; road compliance depends on the complete exhaust, the muffler choice and the emissions hardware behind it, including the catalytic converter. We can go through your HSV's setup and any NSW requirements before fitting.
Oak Flats Muffler Men fits Pacemaker Try-Y systems in-house across the Illawarra. As this one comes without a muffler, we'll talk through rear silencing and check clearances and the cat connection. This is a brought-in-to-order item; the recommended retail is $3,899.06, confirmed with you before ordering.
