The RAW 4x4 PR1407S is a nitro-gas shock absorber listed to fit the 2020-on Isuzu D-Max (8th-generation) dual-cab ute. The nitro-gas build is the point of difference — a damper made to resist fade on the current D-Max when it's worked hard.
Why nitro-gas on a D-Max damper?
The nitro-gas charge in the PR1407S keeps the damping oil from foaming under fast, repeated cycling — the duty an 8th-gen D-Max sees on long dirt corrugations carrying a load. That helps the shock hold consistent damping rather than fading over the distance. Like any shock it controls how the suspension settles after a bump and pairs with the springs; it doesn't change ride height.
