The RAW 4x4 RL885 is a rear leaf spring listed to fit the long-wheelbase Holden Jackaroo (UBS13/16-52) wagon. A leaf spring is a load-carrying part — it sets ride height and supports weight at the rear axle — which is a different job to a shock absorber, and it's where a tired Jackaroo tends to sag.
What's the job of a leaf spring?
A leaf spring carries the load over the rear axle and holds the back of the wagon at its working height. On an older LWB Jackaroo the original leaves can settle over the years, which drops the rear and changes the stance and how it sits under a load. The RL885 is the replacement leaf for that rear position; it's the part you fit when the back end has gone soft rather than when the ride feels bouncy.
