Armax is Safari's higher-flow snorkel design: a polyethylene body with a larger internal bore aimed at owners who want more intake capacity than the standard snorkel. On the N70 Hilux it does the same core job — lifting the air pickup to the A-pillar for cleaner, drier intake — but through a fatter body. We don't quote a flow figure because none is published; the distinction is the larger-bore Armax design rather than the standard SS-series body.

It's listed to fit the Toyota N70 Hilux 3.0L diesel (1KD-FTV) from 2005. The N70 is the seventh-generation Hilux of that era, and the body is moulded to its guard and pillar. Confirm your exact build and that it's the 1KD-FTV diesel with the workshop before ordering, since other engines or the newer Hilux body need a different snorkel.
