For the current-shape Hilux: the Safari SS124HF is a snorkel listed to fit the Toyota Hilux from 2015. It lifts the engine's air intake to roof height on the eighth-generation ute that does so much touring and trade work across the country.
Where this snorkel sits in the Hilux line
The 2015-on Hilux is the newer-bodied generation, and its snorkel body is cut to suit that panel work rather than the earlier 1KD-FTV cars. The SS124HF relocates the air pickup from the engine bay up to the A-pillar, so the air filter feeds on cleaner air on dusty trails and the engine has a higher point before water can be ingested during a crossing.
Will it suit my 2015-on Hilux?
