The Safari SS89HF is a raised-air-intake snorkel listed to fit the Toyota Landcruiser from October 2015 onward. It moves the engine's air pickup up to roof-line height, which is the whole reason a tourer runs one.
A snorkel relocates the intake from low in the guard up the A-pillar, so the engine draws from higher, cleaner air. On a dusty Illawarra fire trail or a creek crossing, that elevated pickup is what keeps grit and water out of the airbox. The SS89HF is an induction part, not an exhaust component, so there are no sound or power figures here — its job is purely where the air comes from. It's shaped to the 2015-on Landcruiser body so the entry follows the factory pillar line.
It's listed to fit the Toyota Landcruiser from 10/2015 onward. Because the wagon ran through several updates, confirm your exact build and bodyshape with the workshop before ordering — feed data is a guide, not a guarantee. We'd rather verify the mounting points than have you guess.
A snorkel is an air-intake panel, not an emissions or exhaust part, so it doesn't carry the cat-delete compliance issues an exhaust does. It still cuts and seals into the guard, so it should be fitted and sealed properly. Confirm any specific requirements for your build with the workshop.
Oak Flats Muffler Men fits Safari snorkels like this in-house here in the Illawarra. It's a guard-and-pillar job that involves cutting and sealing the entry, so it pays to have it done right. Send your Landcruiser details and we'll confirm the fit and book the bay. The SS89HF lists at $660 RRP.
