V-Spec is Safari's smooth-bodied snorkel — a tidier external profile than the ribbed Armax styling, aimed at a near-factory finish on the PJ/PK Ranger. The function is the same as any snorkel: it raises the air pickup from low in the guard up the A-pillar to roof height, so the 3.0L diesel draws cleaner, higher air on dusty tracks and through water.
