The MPI Automotive SSMBM375WOM is a 3in stainless centre pipe for the Toyota Fortuner 2.8L turbo-diesel (2016 onward), supplied without a muffler. It's the centre-delete option, a straight pass-through where a centre silencer would sit, for the freest flow of the three centre choices.
What does the without-muffler centre pipe do?
This is the centre section with no silencer in it, a plain 3in pass-through replacing the centre muffler position. Deleting that middle can lets the gas run unobstructed through the centre of the Fortuner, which lifts volume and frees flow on the 2.8L turbo-diesel. It's the part for an owner who wants the most open of the centre options and is happy to let the rear of the system do the quietening.
