The MPI Automotive SSMKHN0158 is the fully-muffled GTO build — a 2.5in dual extractor-and-exhaust package with a muffler each side, listed to fit the HSV VZ V8 GTO, the HSV version of the Monaro coupe. It's the most damped, road-friendly option for the two-door.
Why a muffler each side on a coupe?
A silencer on each bank gives the most damping of the rear options, so the SSMKHN0158 carries a fuller, more controlled note than the hotdog version of the same GTO system. For a Monaro coupe that doubles as everyday transport, that keeps the V8 voice present without the volume of a straight-through or open rear.
