What do the 1⅞in primaries change?
Primary tube size sets the character. At 1⅞in the SSMKHN0237 leans toward higher-rpm, higher-output builds, where larger primaries help the V8 keep breathing as flow demand rises — the bigger-bore end of the extractor range rather than the smaller primaries tuned for low-down gas speed on a stock motor. It's a spec chosen when the engine is built to use it.
How is the rear arranged?
The 3in dual runs back to a single rear muffler and out a tailpipe, rather than a muffler each side. That keeps the back end lighter while still silencing the note — a different rear treatment from the twin-muffler and hotdog builds in this family, paired here with the large-primary, 3in plumbing.
