The MPI Automotive SSMKHN0309 takes the dual 2.5in WL Grange layout and runs it quieter — twin 2.5in pipes the length of the long-wheelbase car, finishing muffler-to-muffler rather than through a hotdog. It's the reserved exit for the HSV WL Grange V8.
Why twin mufflers on the Grange?
This system keeps each cylinder bank on its own 2.5in pipe but finishes with two muffler stages instead of a hotdog resonator and a single muffler. The second muffler takes the note further down, making this the most settled of the dual 2.5in WL Grange builds. No sound figure is published and we won't quote one — the twin-muffler choice is the quieter long-wheelbase setup.
What does the dual 2.5in routing give the Grange?
