Holden Commodore VU VY VZ V8 Ute 3in L & R With 1 3/4 in Extractors Hotdog/Muffler.
Category: Extractors and headers

Plumbed as separate left and right 3in runs, the MPI Automotive SSMKHN0416 is an extractor system listed to fit the Holden Commodore VU, VY and VZ V8 ute. The L-and-R layout keeps each side independent under the tray, fed by 1¾in primaries into a hotdog resonator and muffler.
L-and-R means the system runs two separate 3in pipes — one per side — rather than collecting both banks into a single run. Under a ute tray that gives each bank its own path to the rear. On the VU/VY/VZ ute the tray and rear floor set this routing, which is why this part is the ute-specific build.
The 1¾in primary size keeps exhaust-gas speed up for low-down and mid-range street response, where a road-driven ute lives. The extractors replace the factory cast manifolds with mandrel-bent tube-and-merge runners, then each 3in side carries a hotdog resonator and muffler.
It's listed to fit the Holden Commodore VU, VY and VZ V8 ute. Those series share the ute platform, but detail differs, so confirm your exact build with us against the listing before ordering. We check the car rather than rely on feed data alone.
Oak Flats Muffler Men fits VU/VY/VZ ute systems in the Illawarra. We check the 1¾in extractor flanges to your heads, route both 3in sides under the tray with proper clearance, and seal the joints for heat cycling. RRP is listed at 5843.49 AUD; fitting is quoted once we've seen the ute.
