Mitsubishi TRITON MQ 3in TURBO BACK With Cat, Muffler (SKU: SSMKMI0015) Engineered. Quality guaranteed.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive SSMKMI0015 is the with-cat, full-muffler version of the 3in turbo-back for the Mitsubishi Triton MQ. It keeps the catalytic converter and runs a chambered rear muffler, so it is the quietest, most road-minded build in the 3in turbo-back set.
It replaces the exhaust from the turbo outlet back at 3in, the larger pipe suited to a modified or harder-worked MQ Triton. The SSMKMI0015 keeps the catalytic converter and finishes on a chambered muffler, so it pairs the bigger bore with the subdued end of the noise range.
A chambered muffler reflects and absorbs pressure pulses to quieten the system, where a hotdog only trims a drone band. On the SSMKMI0015 that means the diesel note stays low-key even with the 3in pipe, which suits an owner who tows or commutes and does not want a hard bark.
Yes. This is a with-cat section, so the factory emissions hardware the MQ Triton was registered with stays fitted. That is the key item for diesel road compliance, so confirm the full build and your state's requirements with the workshop before fitting.
Oak Flats Muffler Men fits this 3in with-cat muffler turbo-back in-house, checking turbo-outlet flange seating and routing the larger pipe along the MQ on the hoist. It is listed to fit the Triton MQ; confirm your build with us. At an RRP of $2,777.97 it is a special-order item.
