Suzuki Jimny XL 5 Door 1.5L Petrol, 2 1/2in Catback With Centre Hotdog & Rear Muffler (SKU: SSMKSZ0006) Engineered.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive SSMKSZ0006 is a 2½in stainless cat-back for the Suzuki Jimny XL 5-door 1.5L petrol, running a centre hotdog and a rear muffler. The twin-silencer layout, hotdog up front and muffler at the rear, is the defining choice: a more controlled, drone-free note than a centre-delete system.
This system pairs a centre hotdog resonator with a rear muffler, so it silences in two stages. The hotdog cuts drone in the middle while staying free-flowing, and the rear muffler does the main quietening at the back. That combination keeps the 1.5L's voice present but well-mannered, less raw than a no-centre-muffler layout, with the resonant boom taken out for long highway runs.
The 2½in bore suits the Jimny's small petrol four, enough pipe to flow without over-sizing it. As a cat-back it replaces everything from the catalytic converter rearward, and the stainless construction is the corrosion-resistant build that earns its keep on a vehicle that wades through mud and water.
As a cat-back, the SSMKSZ0006 only changes pipework behind the catalytic converter and leaves the factory cat in place. Confirm the exact build and any state requirements with the workshop before fitting.
