What the EVC301L does on a Triton
The Triton from early 2006 uses a drive-by-wire pedal mapped soft from the factory for smooth, economical driving. The EVC301L intercepts that pedal signal and remaps it through selectable modes, so the same pedal input asks for throttle sooner. It changes pedal feel only — fuelling, boost and the ECU calibration are untouched.
