What the STM601 does on a 2.4L Triton
The MQ/MR Triton and Pajero Sport run a drive-by-wire pedal that Mitsubishi maps softly for smooth, economical part-throttle driving. The STM601 remaps that pedal signal through selectable modes so the same pedal travel calls for throttle sooner. It changes pedal feel only — not fuelling, boost or the ECU calibration.
