These Exhaust Systems Australia Genie extractors are listed to fit the Ford Falcon EA, EB, ED, EF, EL and AU six-cylinder with the 3.9L and 4L engine. They replace the factory exhaust manifold at the engine on the inline-six Falcon.
What are extractors and where do they fit?
Extractors, also called headers, swap the cast exhaust manifold for tubular runners that give each cylinder its own path before they merge. On an inline-six like the Falcon's, that is a single bank of runners bolting to the head at the hottest part of the engine bay. They change the front of the exhaust at the engine and leave the muffler and pipework behind them unchanged. Genie is the extractor line this set comes from.
