The MPI Automotive FX-768HPC-S is a set of 1-3/4in extractors with 3in outlets, ceramic-coated in silver, listed to fit the RAM 1500 V8 HEMI (DT, DS and TRX). It replaces the cast factory exhaust manifolds at the heads.
What do the 1-3/4in primaries, 3in outlets and ceramic coating mean?
An extractor, or header, swaps the cast factory manifold for tuned-length tubes that merge downstream to reduce back-pressure off the heads. The FX-768HPC-S runs 1-3/4in primaries stepping to 3in outlets, sized for the RAM's HEMI V8. The silver ceramic coating is a surface finish that helps the headers shrug off heat and corrosion. It's a set per bank at the very front of the exhaust. We can't publish power or sound figures, because the supplier doesn't.
