The MPI Automotive FX-777MS is a mild-steel EFI extractor set listed to fit the Jeep Cherokee 4.0L, 1994–2001. It replaces the factory exhaust manifold at the cylinder head.
What's a mild-steel extractor?
An extractor, or header, swaps the cast factory manifold for tuned-length tubes that merge downstream, aiming to reduce back-pressure off the head. The FX-777MS is built from mild steel, the more economical material for a header, and is the EFI version of the Cherokee fitment. On the inline 4.0L it's a single bank of tubes at the front of the exhaust. We can't publish power or sound figures, because the supplier doesn't.
