What is this part?
The FX-931 is a pair of cast exhaust manifolds, left and right, replacing the factory items on the V8 Hemi RAM 1500 in DS form. They are cast standard-style replacements rather than tubular extractors, so the job is restoring a sound manifold rather than altering the runner design. A fitting kit is included for the swap.
Why fit cast manifold replacements?
Original cast manifolds can crack and distort with age and heat, and a like-for-like cast replacement is the straightforward repair: it keeps the manifold close to factory geometry instead of changing the exhaust note the way tubular headers would. The included fitting kit supplies the hardware that goes with the change. Material grade and torque specs are not published for this part.
