Isuzu D-MAX 3L TD 2017- 2020 DPF Back System - Single 3" Kit with Muffler (SKU: KBD8510-XXMX), $1304.82 from Pacemaker.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The Pacemaker KBD8510-XXMX is a single 3in DPF-back kit with a muffler for the Isuzu D-Max 3L turbo-diesel (2017–2020) — the muffler keeps the cab subdued behind the factory DPF.
The muffler in this 3in DPF-back kit quietens by absorption and reflection, so the 3L turbo-diesel stays liveable on long hauls rather than booming through the cab. It's the silencing choice for owners who want the upgraded flow of a larger tailpipe section without a hard, loud note — the muffler doing the bulk of the damping in the rear run.
A DPF-back replaces the exhaust from behind the factory diesel particulate filter rearward, supplied here as a kit with the pipework and hardware to complete the section. The DPF and the emissions hardware ahead of it stay in place. A single 3in bore is larger than the standard tailpipe — the part a workshop changes to free flow on the D-Max.
This Pacemaker kit is listed to fit the Isuzu D-Max 3L turbo-diesel from 2017 to 2020. D-Max builds differ across those years, so confirm your exact variant with Oak Flats Muffler Men before ordering.
We fit this DPF-back kit at Oak Flats in the Illawarra, joining it behind the factory DPF, hanging the muffler on the chassis mounts and routing the kit pipework with clearance along the rail and over the rear axle. It keeps the factory DPF in place; confirm any state registration requirements with us when booking.
