The MPI Automotive MBM219MF is the 3in centre muffler for the Mitsubishi Pajero NS and NT 3.2L turbo-diesel — the mid-section silencer that carries the main quietening in the middle of the run.
What does the centre muffler do on a Pajero?
This is the mid-section silencer, sitting between the front and rear of the Pajero's exhaust and doing the bulk of the volume control. At 3in it's sized for a freer-flowing diesel system rather than a stock pipe.
