The MPI Automotive MBM635WOM is a 3in dual connecting centre section without a muffler for the Ford Mustang V8 — straight pipes through the middle in place of any centre silencer. The muffler delete is the whole point: the freest, loudest centre option for the car.
What does the without-muffler centre do?
The MBM635WOM runs dual straight 3in pipes through the centre, with no chamber or resonator to absorb sound there. On the Mustang's V8 that's the most open centre section — freer-flowing and louder than a hotdog or a full muffler in the same spot. It's the connecting piece for owners who want the centre wide open and the silencing left to the rear.
Why choose a connecting pipe?
