Ford Falcon BA BF V8 Sedan 3in Catback Muffler/Muffler.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive MKFD0098 is the 3in cat-back for the BA/BF V8 sedan with twin chambered mufflers — bigger-bore flow with the most subdued tune in the range. It's listed to fit the Ford Falcon BA/BF V8.
At 3in it flows more than a smaller-bore cat-back, suiting a bigger or more modified Falcon V8. Pairing that with two chambered mufflers — which absorb broadly rather than tuning one frequency — gives the freer flow of a 3in run with the V8 note kept full and controlled, the calmest of the 3in sedan layouts.
Cat-back replaces the pipework from the catalytic converter rearward, here at 3in. The factory cat and emissions hardware ahead of it stay in place, so this is a rear-section change rather than a re-plumb of the emissions equipment.
Because it's a cat-back, the catalytic converter and the emissions equipment in front of it remain in place — not a cat delete. Confirm any state requirements with the workshop before fitting.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits the MKFD0098 in-house. We confirm the listed BA/BF V8 sedan fitment, check clearance over the 3in run and book the bay. As an MPI Automotive system it's a special-order item we bring in to suit your sedan, so the fitment is confirmed before we place the order rather than after, and the existing hangers and exit position are checked while it's on the hoist. Supplier RRP is AUD 1,276.85.
