Ford BA BF V8 Sedan 2.5in L & R CatBack Muffler/Muffler.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

Twin chambered mufflers on a left-and-right 2.5in cat-back make the MPI Automotive MKFD0114 the subdued option for the BA/BF V8 sedan — absorption at both stages, a pipe exiting each side. It's listed to fit the Ford BA/BF V8.
L-and-R runs a separate pipe down each side of the sedan, and the MKFD0114 puts a chambered muffler on each. A muffler absorbs and reflects sound broadly rather than tuning one frequency, so this is the more restrained of the BA/BF sedan layouts — the freer flow of a cat-back with the V8 note kept full and controlled.
Cat-back replaces the pipework from the catalytic converter rearward, sized at 2.5in for the standard Falcon eight. The factory cat and emissions hardware ahead of it stay in place, so this is a rear-section change rather than a re-plumb of the emissions equipment.
Because it's a cat-back, the catalytic converter and the emissions equipment in front of it remain — this is not a cat delete. Confirm any state requirements with the workshop before fitting.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits the MKFD0114 in-house. We set the left and right exits, confirm clearance, match the listed BA/BF sedan fitment and book the bay. As an MPI Automotive system it's a special-order item we bring in to suit your sedan, so the fitment is confirmed before we place the order rather than after. Supplier RRP is AUD 2,082.87.
