MPI Automotive Ford PX2 & PX3 Ranger 3in DPF Back Without Muffler, Twin Black Tip Side Exit.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive MKFD0252T-B is a 3in dpf-back for the Ford PX2 and PX3 Ranger — it picks up behind the diesel particulate filter, runs no muffler for a more open note, and finishes through twin black tips at the side. This is the keener-priced, non-stainless build.
A dpf-back is the rear-only upgrade: it replaces the exhaust from behind the diesel particulate filter back, leaving the DPF and the upstream pipework alone. That keeps the change focused on the section behind the filter — a tidier job and a lower-cost path than a full turbo-back when the goal is freeing the rear of the system. At 3in it is sized for the Ranger's diesel.
With the rear muffler gone, this version runs more open and louder than a dpf-back that keeps one. There is no resonator filling in, so the note is fuller from the filter back, and the twin black-tip side exit gives it the matching look.
This is a dpf-back, so it leaves the diesel particulate filter in place rather than removing it. The deleted muffler is a volume matter with its own noise-rule considerations. We confirm the exact build and your state's requirements with you before fitting.
