Ford PX2 & PX3 Ranger 3in DPF Back Without Muffler, Twin Tip Side Exit (MKFD0252T) Fits FORD. Fast.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive MKFD0252T is the DPF-back of the PX2/PX3 side-exit family: a 3in DPF-back with no muffler, exiting through a twin tip out the side. Being a DPF-back rather than a turbo-back, plus the deleted muffler and side exit, is what sets this one apart.
A DPF-back changes the exhaust behind the diesel particulate filter, leaving the DPF and the hardware ahead of it in place. This MKFD0252T deletes the muffler, so the 3in pipe runs as freely as possible behind the filter for a more vocal note. It's a shorter span than a turbo-back — it starts behind the DPF rather than at the turbo.
Rather than a rear tailpipe, the 3in exhaust turns out the side of the Ranger into a twin tip. Side exits clear tow bars and rear bar work and put the twin-tip look ahead of the rear wheel — a routing and appearance choice on top of the no-muffler DPF-back core.
It's listed to fit the PX2 and PX3 Ford Ranger. Exact build and any earlier exhaust work affect what mates up, and the side exit needs to clear your rear bar and any towing setup — confirm all of it with the workshop before ordering. Fitment data is a guide, not a guarantee.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits side-exit DPF-backs in-house across the Illawarra. Side routing means checking tip position, body clearance and tyre line on the hoist. Confirm your Ranger's fitment with us and we'll book the bay.
