Ford PX2 & PX3 Ranger 3in Turbo Back With Cat & Muffler, Twin Tip Side Exit.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive MKFD0253T is the most subdued of the PX2/PX3 side-exit turbo-backs: a 3in turbo-back that keeps the catalytic converter, fits a full muffler, and exits through a twin tip out the side. Cat retained and muffler fitted — the quietest-leaning of the side-exit options.
This MKFD0253T keeps the factory catalytic converter and fits a chambered muffler, so it takes more energy out of the note than a hotdog or no-silencer version while leaving the emissions hardware in place. It's the most composed of the PX2/PX3 side-exit turbo-backs — flow from the 3in run, with the muffler and cat keeping it civil.
Instead of running out the rear, the 3in exhaust turns out the side of the Ranger into a twin tip. Side exits clear tow bars and rear bar work and give the twin-tip look ahead of the rear wheel — a routing and appearance choice on top of the muffled with-cat core.
Because the MKFD0253T keeps the catalytic converter, the cat road compliance hinges on stays in place. It fits a muffler and runs a side exit, so confirm the exact build and any NSW noise and exit-position requirements with the workshop before fitting.
