Ford PX2 & PX3 Ranger 3in Turbo Back Without Cat & With Hotdog, Twin Black Tip Side Exit.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

Running a hotdog resonator instead of a full muffler, the MPI Automotive MKFD0256T-B is a 3in cat-delete turbo-back for the Ford PX2 and PX3 Ranger — a free-breathing build with just enough silencing to soften the edge, exiting through twin black tips at the side.
The hotdog is a compact straight-through resonator: gas runs straight through a perforated core rather than bouncing through chambers. It trims the harshest of the note without choking flow, so this version keeps more volume and openness than a chambered-muffler build while still taking the raw edge off. It is the middle setting for an owner who wants character without the full no-muffler bark.
A turbo-back swaps the exhaust from the turbo outlet back — the whole diesel run, not just the tailpipe. At 3in it is sized for the engine and routes to a twin black-tip side exit. This is the value-priced, non-stainless build of the cat-delete hotdog layout.
No. The MKFD0256T-B deletes the catalytic converter, so it is not ADR 79/04 compliant for road registration in NSW and is for off-road use only. The hotdog changes the sound, not the compliance picture — the absent cat is what rules it out for road registration here.
