The MPI Automotive MKFD0273T-B is the muffler-delete, cat-retained 3in turbo-back for the Ford PX2 and PX3 Ranger — louder than a full-muffler system because the rear silencer is gone, while the catalytic converter stays put. It finishes through twin black tips out the side.
What does deleting the muffler change?
Pulling the rear muffler removes the main absorptive silencer from the turbo-back, so this version sits louder than the equivalent build that keeps one. There is no resonator or hotdog standing in for it, so the character is fuller and harder — the choice for an owner who wants more presence from the 3in pipe but is not chasing the fully open, cat-deleted layout.
