The MPI Automotive MKFD0275T is the side-exit, no-muffler DPF-back for the Next-Gen T6.2 Ford Ranger V6: a 3in run with no mufflers, finishing in a twin tip out the side. Side-exit routing and the deleted mufflers are what separate this from the rear-exit version.
What does the side-exit twin tip change?
Rather than running the tailpipe out the rear, this MKFD0275T turns the exhaust out the side of the Ranger into a twin tip. Side exits clear tow bars and rear bar work and give the twin-tip look ahead of the rear wheel — a routing and appearance choice on top of the no-muffler core, which on its own makes this the louder-leaning DPF-back.
What's a no-muffler DPF-back?
A DPF-back replaces the exhaust behind the diesel particulate filter, leaving the DPF and the hardware ahead of it in place. This one deletes the mufflers, so the 3in pipe runs as freely as possible behind the filter for a more vocal note. The DPF stays — it's the silencing, not the filtration, that's left out.
