A 3in dpf-back matched to the 2.0L bi-turbo
The MKFD0280 leads on its sizing: 3in pipework chosen for the 2.0L bi-turbo four-cylinder in the Next-Gen Ranger. A dpf-back starts at the diesel particulate filter outlet and replaces the run rearward, so it is the back-half upgrade that frees the exhaust path without touching the filter or the emissions hardware ahead of it.
What does removing the centre muffler do?
This version deletes the centre muffler, taking out one of the mid-system silencing chambers. The note opens up over the fully muffled layout while the rear section still carries the final quietening. It is a straightforward, rear-exit configuration rather than a side-exit build.
