The MPI Automotive MKFD0280T sets itself apart with a twin-tip side-exit finish: a 3in dpf-back listed to fit the Next-Gen T6.2 Ford Ranger 4cyl 2.0L bi-turbo, run without the centre muffler. The side exit is the distinguishing detail over the standard rear-exit version.
Why the twin-tip side exit?
The side-exit twin-tip routing is what marks the MKFD0280T out. Instead of finishing under the rear bar, the tailpipes turn out ahead of the rear wheel for a different look and a cleaner departure angle on the Next-Gen Ranger. It changes how the system packages at the back of the ute while keeping the same 3in core.
What a 3in dpf-back covers on the 2.0L bi-turbo
At 3in this dpf-back is sized for the 2.0L bi-turbo four-cylinder, picking up at the diesel particulate filter outlet and replacing the run rearward. Deleting the centre muffler removes a mid-system silencing chamber, opening the note while the DPF and emissions hardware ahead of it stay in place.

- This one finishes with a twin-tip side exit ahead of the rear wheel rather than under the rear bar. The 3in dpf-back core is the same; the tailpipe routing is what changes.
