FORD MUSTANG V8 FM 2015 - 2017 3in FULL SYSTEM WITHOUT CENTRE MUFFLER WITH REAR MUFFLERS & TWIN TIPS.
Category: Mufflers and resonators

The MPI Automotive MKFD0306 is a full 3in system for the V8 Ford Mustang FM (2015–2017), built without a centre muffler, with rear mufflers and twin tips. As a full system it covers more of the run than a cat-back alone, finishing through twin tips at the rear.
Where a cat-back starts at the converter, this is the fuller run for the FM V8 — a complete 3in system carried through to the twin tips. It deletes the centre muffler to free the mid-section, keeps rear mufflers for the final silencing, and finishes through twin tips. The 3in bore is sized for the V8's output.
Removing the centre box takes a silencing stage out of the middle of the system, so the note is harder than a fully muffled car — the rear mufflers still temper the tail. It's a louder full system rather than a stripped-out open one. We can't quote a sound level, so the honest test is to hear a comparable fit on a similar FM.
It's listed to fit the V8 Ford Mustang FM from 2015 to 2017. Because the centre muffler is deleted, the note is louder — check it against your state's noise requirements and confirm your exact build with the workshop before ordering.
Oak Flats Muffler Men supplies and fits the MKFD0306 in-house across the Illawarra. We fit the full run, set the twin tips square at the rear, and check clearance under the FM body. Bring the Mustang in and we'll confirm fitment and book the bay.
