The MPI Automotive MKFD0307 is built for the earlier FM Ford Mustang 5.0L V8 (2015–2017): a 3in cat-back with centre hotdogs, rear mufflers and single 4in tips. As a cat-back it changes the exhaust behind the catalytic converters, leaving the factory emissions hardware in place.

This MKFD0307 replaces the exhaust from the cat outlets back. The 3in run uses centre hotdogs to tune the mid-section and rear mufflers to handle silencing, exiting through single 4in tips. Because it's a cat-back, the factory cats stay — it's a sound and flow change behind the emissions equipment, not a teardown of it.
